What we collect
When you submit the challenge form on this page, we collect:
- Full name
- Work email address
- Company name (optional)
- Phone number (optional)
- The description of your supply chain challenge
- Whether you opted in to receive newsletter updates
Why we process it, and on what basis
Responding to your challenge
We use your name, email, company, phone, and challenge description to review what you’ve shared and reply with a practical next step, usually within 48 hours. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request, prior to and in providing the response you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Newsletter updates
If you separately tick the newsletter checkbox on the form, we’ll also use your email to send occasional updates. This is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time — see “Your rights” below. No newsletter tool is active yet; opting in currently only records your preference for when one is set up.
How long we keep it
We keep challenge-submission data for 12 months from your last contact with us, after which it’s deleted unless a longer retention is required by law. If you’ve opted in to the newsletter, we keep your email for that purpose until you withdraw consent.
Who else sees it
We don’t sell your data. It’s shared only with the processors that run this page:
- Vercel Inc. — hosts this page. Form submissions are handled in its Frankfurt (EU) region; Vercel is a US company and relies on standard contractual clauses for any transfer outside the EU.
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365: SharePoint and Outlook) — used to store form submissions in our company account and to email our team a notification when you submit the form.
- A newsletter tool, once one is chosen — this section will be updated first.
We don’t currently have confirmation of every processor’s exact data-processing region. Until that’s confirmed, treat this section as reflecting our best current understanding rather than a final legal determination.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing done before that;
- lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), since ACE | APS Competence & Excellence B.V. is based in the Netherlands.
